Our disciplines
Whether you ride or prefer groundwork, there is something for you at Logan Equestrian and Quarter Horse Club.
Ranch – new in 2026
At our new venue at Boondarn Park, Logan Equestrian and Quarter Horse Club is introducing members to the discipline of Ranch. Held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, we host a mixture of educational clinics, training days and club points days. You will need ATHRA membership to participate. Find out more about ranch.
Trail riding
The club is affiliated with ATHRA. As a member of ATHRA you are able to participate in all club rides as well as other affiliated club rides and camps. In 2023 we introduced both short and long rides for our members. Our Avachat rides are held the first Tuesday of the month and hosted by our President, Linda Dewar.
Trail obstacles & mechanical cow
New obstacles, new activities, new workshops – the 4th Saturday of the month. An obstacle competition is held later in the year.
Working equitation
Logan River Redlands Working Equitation is held every 2nd Saturday or Sunday of the month. As an affiliate of ANWE, we provide the pathway for you to compete at state level competitions, and also cater for those just wishing to participate and learn about working equitation.
Dressage – new in 2026
Dressage is a new addition to our disciplines at Boondarn Park. As an Equestrian Queensland affiliate, we run dressage protocol days, dressage clinics and dressage competitions. Some of these competitions are promoted through the Equestrian Queensland website.
Show jumping
Show jumping is coming to Boondarn Park and the committee needs more volunteers for this discipline. Please email the secretary if you would like to help.
